Awaken Dan Tian by Tai Chi Push Hand
Though nowadays, most people practice tai chi chuan for health, it is in fact an authentic, highly developed ‘internal’ martial art, where almost every movement of the form has at least one martial application.
But just practicing the form by yourself, will not enable you to apply the martial applications in real combat situations. To achieve this objective, will require extensive practice of these applications with a wide variety of different sized partners. And for this reason, tai chi chuan practice entails a significant number of different 2 person interactive practices.
The most popular among these practices, is called “tai chi push hand”. Different styles of tai chi have different push hand drills or routines. But even when these drills are practiced regularly by serious tai chi practitioners, most of these students are aware only of the martial aspect of these routines, and consequently, they do not realize that some specific tai chi push hand routines can also be used as an inner alchemy practice.
For example, practicing the popular Yang style 4 fundamental forces push hand routine in certain specific ways, can strongly activate the lower dan tian. This is what this study course about.
In this course you will learn:
- The Yang style 4 fundamental forces push hand routine.
- The details and how to apply the 4 most important forces in tai chi which are Peng, Lu, Ji, An
- How to establish a deep connection between your arms and lower dan tian.
- The secrets of how to use this popular tai chi push hand routine to awaken the lower dan tian.
During the first stage of your lower dan tian awakening, your physical strength and stamina will increase, as well as your libido, and as long as you don’t overspend this generated energy on strenuous physical activities, your overall health will gradually improve. You will also be less susceptible to cold temperatures because your core will remain comfortably warm after your lower dan tian awaken. Furthermore, when later you practice your tai chi chuan or Shibashi, you will discover that now you are actually initiating the movements from your dan tian, rather than merely imagining you are.
Most people will be able to learn this tai chi push hand routine within just a few days. You can treat this as a 2-person interactive qigong practice. It is fun to do because it is, in many senses, like a partner dance. Moreover, your sensitivity and understanding of your training (dancing) partners will noticeably increase due to the qi exchange that occurs during this type of practice.
